Sania Mirza’s desires of winning her maiden Grand Slam combined doubles title came to an conclusion on Wednesday, July 6 as the Indian tennis star dropped her mixed doubles semi-closing along with Croatian husband or wife Mate Pavic. Sania and Pavic dropped to defending champions Neal Skupski and Desirae Krawczyk 6-4, 5-7, 4-6 in a difficult-fought match on Courtroom Two at SW19.
Sania Mirza and Mate Pavic ended up up a set and a break and looked set to get the work performed in straight sets but the Indo-Croatian pair dropped its momentum with Skupski and Krawczyk elevating their degree halfway via the 2nd set.
