Incarceration would bear no fruit: Delhi court grants bail to Deep Sidhu in Crimson Fort violence case
Delhi courtroom has granted bail to Deep Sidhu in a circumstance submitted by the Archaeological Survey of India alleging destruction to the Crimson Fort.

A Delhi court docket on Monday granted bail to Deep Sidhu who was arrested in link with the Pink Fort violence on Republic Working day.
The courtroom granted bail to Deep Sidhu in a scenario registered by the Archaeological Study of India (ASI) alleging destruction to general public residence during the farmers’ tractor parade violence on Republic Working day at Purple Fort.
“Applicant’s further incarceration in the current circumstance would bear no fruit and as a result would be unjustified, nor would the restoration of applicant’s liberty be harmful to the investigation staying executed by the police authorities,” the court observed though granting bail to Deep Sidhu.

The courtroom included, “The accused has presently been interrogated in Personal computer for 14 days and has been in custody for about 70 days when he has been granted typical bail by Ld. ASJ on related facts. Any further more restraint upon his liberty would be neither reasonable nor legal.”
Deep Sidhu was arrested on February 9 and was granted bail by a Delhi court on April 16 in the case.
The Delhi Police’s Criminal offense Branch arrested Deep Sidhu yet again in link with the case lodged by the ASI just after a Delhi court granted bail to the actor-activist arrested on February 9 in link with the Crimson Fort violence.
On January 26, hundreds of protesting farmers who arrived at ITO in Delhi from the Ghazipur border clashed with law enforcement, the company claimed in its FIR registered in link with the Crimson Fort violence, including that many of them who ended up driving tractors reached the Crimson Fort and entered the monument, in which a religious flag was also hoisted.
