US President Joe Biden in a letter to Congress reported that he intended to rescind the designation of Afghanistan as a key non-NATO ally.
On Wednesday, in a letter to the Dwelling speaker Nancy Pelosi, the US President mentioned, “In accordance with section 517 of the Foreign Help Act of 1961, as amended (22 U.S.C. 2321k), I am giving discover of my intent to rescind the designation of Afghanistan as a Major non-NATO Ally.”
