Former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has questioned what was the urgency in declaring her loss of life, a day right after Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and some news shops wrongfully claimed that the veteran BJP chief has passed away.
On Friday, Sumitra Mahajan asked, “How could news channels run a report on my so identified as demise without even cross checking with the Indore administration? My niece refuted Mr. Tharoor on Twitter but what was the urgency in announcing with out affirmation?”
She has also claimed, “”The Central authorities and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla must choose notice of this.”
In the meantime, Shashi Tharoor has stated in a different tweet, “Spoke to Sumitra Mahajan ji’s son to convey my honest apologies at past night’s misinformation. He was most gracious and comprehension. Delighted to hear she is pretty much much better. Expressed my most effective needs to her and her loved ones.”

This comes following Shashi Tharoor and some media stores on Thursday night introduced the demise of Sumitra Mahajan. Tharoor and many others later deleted the tweets following BJP leaders pointed out that she was hale and hearty.
Sumitra Mahajan’s son Mandar put out a online video clip on Thursday night time, expressing his mother is flawlessly high-quality and requested men and women not to believe that the untrue news about her.
Mahajan was the Lok Sabha Speaker from 2014 to 2019. She earlier represented the Indore Lok Sabha constituency in Parliament for eight conditions.
