REVIEW – I love riding electric scooters. The first time I rode one was an Uber rental in Miami and I am kinda surprised that I didn’t crash or get run over, but it was a lot of fun being able to zip around town without a car. Since then I’ve reviewed a few scooters and have seen quite a variation in the variety and quality of batteries, suspension, and other features. The scooter up for review today, the Naveetech ST3 Pro, has some impressive stats and I had to see how it compared. It has a different suspension system than others I’ve reviewed and looks pretty cool, if I say so. Read on to see how it holds up!

Design and features
The Naveetech ST3 Pro Electric Scooter has a different style of suspension from other scooters that I’ve reviewed in the past. Just having a shock absorbing suspension is kind of a big deal, in my opinion. I’ve ridden several scooters that feel like they’re going to vibrate your teeth out on bumpy roads.
The overall design of this scooter has several little features that show that some serious thought was invested. The little hook on the handlebar post to hang a bag on. The storage latch when you need to fold the handlebars down. The placement of controls. All great design additions.
This scooter also comes with regenerative braking, which is an interesting add, in my opinion. In my rides so far I haven’t focused much on the energy capture there, but in heavy use, every little bit is going to help.
Assembly
This is one of the easiest installs I’ve done in quite a while. Most electric scooters are pretty easy to install, but this one only had four screws to install on the handlebar post and that was it.

That’s it. Easy peasy.
Performance
Performance is fantastic. There are 3 different speed modes you can operate in. Walk, Drive, Sport. To shift between speed modes just takes a quick double-tap of the power button on the right handlebar. It recommends operating in Drive mode for a bit until you get used to operating the scooter.
Storing the scooter is pretty easy. The scooter has a locking hinge like such:
The hinge has more than a simple latch to lock it. You have to lift up on a switch to get it to open up, which greatly reduces the possibility of it opening up mid-ride.

Storage in the back of a Honda Pilot. It fits best in this configuration due to the width of the handlebars.
App performance on Android is pretty great. There aren’t a ton of different pages and everything is easy to access. You can enable additional functionality like cruise control, change settings on energy recovery, and lock the device. Connecting to the scooter was easy and aside from yet one more app on my phone, it works well.
Final thoughts
I’m very impressed by this electric scooter. The suspension and overall build quality is great. It is not a light scooter, but I think that’s to be expected when you factor in the battery life, suspension, and frame strength. I definitely recommend this scooter for anyone looking for a smooth riding commuter or just getting around town and having fun.
What I like about the Naveetech ST3 Pro electric scooter
- Seriously great suspension. One of the smoothest riding scooters I’ve tried.
- Well designed with some nice additions like a bag holder
- Looks really cool.
- App is laid out well
What needs to be improved?
- It’s HEAVY. Until battery tech improves even more, that’s probably not going to change. You may need help with storage or loading it into a car. LIFT SAFE!
