By Malvika Gurung
Investing.com — Shares of the IT heavyweight HCL Technologies (NS:) will trade ex-dividend on Thursday, a day ahead of its record date.
The company, while releasing its earnings results for the Dec 2022 ending quarter last week, announced that its Board of Directors declared an Interim Dividend of Rs 10/share of Rs 2 each for the financial year 2022-23.
The mega-cap giant fixed the record date for the corporate event as Friday, Jan 20, and has set the payment date for the said interim dividend to eligible shareholders of the company as Feb 1, 2023.
The Noida-based firm posted an 18.8% YoY growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 4,096 crore for Q3, led by strong deal wins despite a weak global macroeconomic environment, while its net consolidated revenue rose 19.6% YoY to Rs 26,700 crore, both figures exceeding Bloomberg’s estimates.
However, the company revised its revenue guidance from 14 to 13.5%, from the earlier 13.5% to 14.5% due to seasonal weakness expected in Q4 FY23.
HCL Tech’s EBIT margin expanded 60 bps on a yearly basis to 19.6% in Q3 and jumped 165 basis points sequentially.
