Sobha Gangwal Slashes Voting Capital from 7.04% to 2.99% in Indigo

Investing.com — Sobha (NS:) Gangwal, the wife of IndiGo’s co-founder Rakesh Gangwal as well as a member of the Promoter Group of InterGlobe Aviation (NS:), the airline company’s operator, has cut her stake held in the company.
The low-cost airline major Indigo informed in a regulatory filing on Feb 20, 2023, that Sobha Gangwal, part of its Promoter Group, has slashed her holding in the company from 7.04% to 2.99%.
Gangwal held a total of 2,71,23,361 equity shares of the airline company, translating to a voting capital of 7.04% in Indigo.
However, she sold her shares carrying voting rights and after the sale, now holds a total of 1,15,23,361 equity shares of the company, aggregating to a voting capital of 2.99%.
Gangwal sold 1.56 crore shares of Indigo or a 4.05% stake in the company through a block sale on Thursday, Jan 16, 2023, the airline major said.
Shares of Interglobe Aviation were traded 0.07% lower at Rs 1,880.9 apiece while writing on Monday.
