Tzachi Hanegbi, head of Israel’s Countrywide Stability Council, also mentioned he spoke with Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi to reaffirm Israel’s motivation to Jordan’s territorial integrity and the Israel-Jordan peace treaty.
Smotrich’s responses arrived on the similar working day that Israeli and Palestinian officials fulfilled in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, to consider and relaxed tensions in advance of the Ramadan and Passover holidays.
