Oldest panda in Mexico dies at zoo on her 35th birthday following ‘enjoying a cake of dates and apples’
Shuan Shuan, the oldest panda in Mexico, has died at the age of 35.
Mexico City’s Atmosphere Section stated the panda died at the Chapultepec Zoo in the capital. The division did not listing a lead to of death.
But it explained Shuan Shuan lived properly beyond her species’ lifetime expectancy in the wild, which it set at 15 decades.

Shuan Shuan was born in 1987, and the section reported she was just one of the longest-lived pandas outdoors pandas’ indigenous habitat, China.
