(Reuters) – Netflix Inc is in talks with quite a few companies for marketing partnerships, co-CEO Ted Sarandos said on Thursday, as the streaming titan seems to be to plug slowing subscriber progress by rolling out a more affordable approach with adverts.
Media reviews from earlier this week claimed it was in discussions with Alphabet Inc’s Google and Comcast Corp’s NBCUniversal for opportunity advertising and marketing tie-ups.
“We’re chatting to all of them appropriate now,” Sarandos explained at the Cannes Lions convention when requested which firm Netflix was looking to companion with.
