IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw ‘Welcomes’ Intel To Make Chips In India

President of Intel Foundry Providers Randhir Thakur took to Twitter to praise the government’s efforts for rolling out particular plans and incentives to change India into a manufacturing hub for electronics and semiconductors. Although neither Thakur nor Intel announced any designs officially to start out building chips in India, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw “welcomed” Intel to India.
“Glad to see a prepare laid out for all features of the supply chain: talent, design, producing, check, packaging & logistics,” reported Thakur. Responding to this, the IT minister said, “Intel – welcome to India.”
