Investing.com — Bharat Petroleum (NS:): The Maharatna PSU has signed an MoU agreement with the state-owned Brazilian petroleum company Petrobras to bolster future trade relations between the two, in line with BPCL’s plans to diversify its sourcing requirements.
Coal India (NS:): The world’s largest coal producer (Maharatna) will sign agreements with three PSUs on Tuesday, namely Bharat Heavy Electricals (NS:), GAIL (NS:) and Indian Oil (NS:) Corporation for setting up four surface gasification projects.
Britannia Industries (NS:): The FMCG giant’s board of directors has promoted Varun Berry to the Executive Vice-Chairman and Managing Director position and appointed Rajneet Kohli as the company’s Executive Director & CEO.
Oil India (NS:): The state-owned Navratna company posted the highest-ever net profit, recording a whopping 123% YoY jump to Rs 3,887.3 crore in FY22, along with an all-time high total income of Rs 16,428 crore.
PI Industries (NS:): The agrosciences company’s promoter sold 10 lakh of its equity shares for Rs 315 crore on Friday, which was purchased by various domestic and foreign entities, like Mirae Asset MF, BNP Paribas (EPA:) Arbitrage, Morgan Stanley (NYSE:) Asia Singapore Pte and ICICI Prudential (LON:) Life Insurance Company (NS:), among others.
Suzlon Energy (NS:): The renewable energy company’s board of directors announced a rights issue in the ratio of 5:21 to raise Rs 1,200 crore.
Harsha Engineers International (BO:): The core engineering company will debut on the Indian bourses on Monday.
