NGT sets up panel to tackle concern of sewage, harmful gas in Delhi’s Kushak drain

A bench of NGT Chairperson Justice A K Goel explained the grievance requirements to be remedied but the masking of a drain can be authorized only if a good independent pipeline to have sewage is provided and only rainwater is carried into the drain, which is not the circumstance here.
“The applicants them selves have pointed out that covering the drain has resulted in the accumulation of poisonous gases (that are becoming) launched from uncovered elements of the drain at the rear of sure homes.
